Regional Showcase: Open Call to Artists in the States of OH, KY, & IN

The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers currently living in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana to submit original works of art of any type, media, or style. Includes exhibitor honorarium of $50 for each exhibiting artist, and new Grand Jury Award of $1,000 for one jury-selected work from among the exhibits on view. $40 for up to 4 entries. $5 per each add’l entry. 34th Annual Midwest Seasons

The Center for the Visual Arts in Wausau, WI announces a call for art for a juried exhibition, January 10 – March 16, 2024. $1200 in Cash Awards. Juror: Angela Johnson. Original works should draw inspiration from Midwest impressions and activities (i.e. the excitement of summer sports, the fresh scents of spring awakening, the warmth of a hot cup of soup in the bitter winter, or the crisp autumn colors). Collage / Assemblage: Beautiful and Strange Fragmentation

ARC Gallery in Chicago, IL announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, February 1-23, 2024. Juror: David Reif. Collage is an art form that involves combining and/or altering two or more 2-dimensional materials, such as photographs, published print, textiles, sheet music, candy wrappers, headstone rubbings, etc., to create unique compositions. Assemblage is the recontextualization of 3-dimensional found objects, materials, or processes in order to construct new sculptures, either bas-relief or 3D. $40 for 1-3 images, $10 for each add’l image; Student Fee: $30. Artists nationwide are invited to apply for the Annual Art Fair, held May 10-12, 2024 at Laumeier Sculpture Park in St. Louis, MO. Judges award $6,000+ in cash and prizes. Merriam Parks & Recreation seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, March 2 – April 30, 2024 at the
Tim Murphy Art Gallery, located inside the Merriam Community Center in Merriam, KS. 1st Place – $1,500; 2nd Place – $1,000; 3rd Place – $500; three $100 Awards of Merit. Juror: Jean Cook. US artists 18 and over are invited to submit up to three digital images of original artwork. Works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, charcoal, pencil, photography or a mixture of any of the above media are acceptable.
