Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center in Solomons, MD invites emerging and established artists to submit original artworks to ‘Warm and Cozy: art that comforts.’ The exhibit will feature artwork that captures the sensation of feeling warm, and the physical and emotional responses we have to being warm. One of our most basic human needs, warmth can signify comfort, security, intimacy, and community connection. Depictions of sun-drenched landscapes and intimate cozy interiors, heartfelt portraits and loving embraces, plush soft sculpture and tactile works, warm wearable art, multi-sensory installations, or nostalgic subjects and family traditions are all welcome.
