The Stamford Art Association announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, October 26 – December 15, 2023 at the Townhouse Gallery (in person and online) in Stamford, CT. Over $1200 in awards. First, 2nd, 3rd Prize, HM’s as per the juror. Winners will be asked to participate in a video presentation. Jurors: Joseph Henry (Art History Ph.D. Candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center), Florence B. Selden (Fellow at the Yale University Art Gallery). Martha Spak Gallery in Washington, DC invites artists to submit their 2D and 3D art for this themed exhibition “Symphony of Color,” October 18- November 26, 2023. Cash prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, Second Place and Third Place. There will also be the People’s Choice Award chosen by Wharf visitors. Juror: Lesley Duncan. The Council for the Arts in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania seeks entries for a juried miniature art exhibition, November 3 – December 23, 2023. Best of Show ($300), 3 Merit Awards ($100 each) and Honorable Mentions. Juror: Meredith Grimsley. Image size must be no greater than 4″ x 6″, not to exceed 24 square inches; outside of framed pieces must be no greater than 6″ x 8″, not to exceed 48 square inches. Mats & frames should be delicate and in proportion to the work. Sculpture should not exceed 5″ in any dimension, or 125 cubic inches. Art work must be created by artists living in the USA; it must be original (no copies) and completed within the past 2 years.
