The Emerald Coast National (ECN) is a juried exhibition held annually at Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries, Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, FL. $1750 total in awards. The Gainesville Fine Arts Association (GFAA) invites submissions for its 4th National Biennial Juried Exhibition – Heat, August 28 – October 19, 2024 at the GFAA Gallery in Gainesville, FL. The Academy Center of the Arts in Lynchburg, VA announces a call to artists for the Academy Clay Festival, October 12, 2024. Best in Show, 2nd Place and 3rd Place Awards. Juror: Ian Schmidt. The HMS Visiting Artists Fellowship (January 2025- November 2025) at Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth Beach, FL will provide an endowment of $6,000 to one selected artist per year and facilitate exhibition and mentoring opportunities. This October, LibertyTown Arts Workshop in Fredericksburg, VA presents Fiber IV, an exhibition celebrating everything fiber. 1st place: $500, 2nd place: $250, 3rd Place: $125. We want to showcase the full breadth of fiber art, including but not limited to weaving, dying, felting, sculpture, sewing, quilting, knitting, and crocheting.
