Evil Dead 2 is a cult classic horror comedy that we’ve adored for decades, and we’re particularly fond of the film’s super evil depiction of the Necronomicon, aka the Book of the Dead. Being big fans of Ash and his escapades, we created our own Book of the Dead–a Studio Canal officially licensed version of the Necronomicon! Except this one doesn’t cause Deadites to appear in your neck of the woods if you open it and read from its pages, it just displays your cherished art in fully archival sleeves.
In addition to the Evil Dead 2 portfolio, we’re releasing an exclusive print based off of the art used on the portfolio itself. The print is a special vegan leather embossed print, which we’ve been experimenting with quite a bit, and the results perfectly mimics the texture of the iconic face that adorns the Necronomicon’s cover from the movie.
