This Wednesday, Ian Permana goes full cyberpunk with his newest print for Blade Runner!
Ian’s art often centers around worldbuilding, and we just love having him play in established, lore-filled worlds. Both Phillip K Dick’s original story and Ridley Scott’s film adaptation build out a dark and grimy neo-noir world where the intersection of humanity and technology is explored, and Ian’s art hones in on this through the ever-symbolic Tyrell owl. Ian’s alternative movie poster contains a slew of symbolic imagery and references to the Blade Runner world at large, alongside the perfect color palette for the neon-soaked streets of Blade Runner’s Los Angeles.
Ian’s prints will be available for purchase on Wednesday (11/13) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
