Shang’s art blurs the line between reality and more colorful, cosmic affairs, and with Borderline 8, we’re diving deeper into the mind and psyche of the artist. Borderline 8 sees Shang use more gentle coloring techniques to create layers and ripples that seem to flow like water surrounding the mesmerizing head at the center, while also potentially giving off planetary imagery with the centered head as the planet and the colors surrounding it as the planetary rings. Shang’s art is often a journey into mystery, and we’re always happy to take that trip.
