What keeps you excited in the studio?
Usually my meditations
Looking back at your trajectory as an artist, how would you say your work has developed?
Starting coloring within the lines to coloring my mind’s eye views.
What role do you think the artist has in today’s society?
To remind people of the beauty in life, to help people see beyond the seeable, to FEEL something, to use their hearts to see.
What’s the most important advice you could give to an aspiring artist?
Don’t listen to anyone, stay true to your individual path. Meditate to reach the highest guidance for your art.
Does age matter in art? Why or why not?
Nope. Ones art changes, hopefully ,from age to age, your art at 5, 25, 65 is done by a totally different person, perspective, experience. They are ALL valuable.
What can we look forward to from you next?
I never know what will come . I’m live in anticipation for what comes through me.
Is there anything else you would like to share about being an artist later in life?
Once I completely accepted that my art was for me, my evolution and that what ever people thought said or did in response to it was theirs.
