The Hopper Prize is accepting entries for Spring 2025 artist grants. We are offering 6 grants totaling $11,000 USD. 2 artists will each receive $3,500 and 4 artists will each receive $1,000. Our open call provides you with a direct path to get your work in front of an international community of curators, artists, gallerists, and arts administrators. Theme- “Water” covers 71% of the Earth’s surface and is vital for all known forms of life. 96.5% of the Earth’s crust water is found in seas and oceans. Although the sea moderates the Earth’s climate and has important roles in the water, carbon, and nitrogen cycles, it is often viewed for its beauty, power, and life. We would like to see your interpretation of water. Too Marker Products invites artists to apply for the Copic Award. Over $2,500 USD in awards. There are no restrictions for nationality, age, experience, residence area, genre, theme etc. Applicants must be individual artists, not groups. Entry is limited to artworks which have not already been made public either through another competition or an exhibition (excluding personal exhibition or own social media pages). Your artwork must have been created using Copic products. The artwork should be no larger than 420mm x 297mm x 300mm and weigh no more than 5kg. L420mm x W297mm is equivalent to the international paper size A3. There is no restriction on the orientation of length and width. Three-dimensional works are also welcome. The base material does not have to be paper, but the use of fragile materials such as ceramic or glass is prohibited. Only one piece of artwork may be submitted per person. Free entry.
