Textile Arts Center’s Artist-In-Residence Call For Applications

Calling all textile artists and fiber enthusiasts to apply for the Artist-In-Residence program, held October 2025 – June 2026 at the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn, New York. Tuition $11,000. One scholarship available if you meet the majority of the following criteria: Are in need of financial assistance to participate, Identify as part of a historically marginalized identity or community in the Arts, (i.e class, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexuality, age), Are an immigrant to the US, Are a non-degree holder, Have not had a solo show in a renowned gallery, Live in NY or surrounding areas. Free Independent Residency

Snow Farm, located in the Berkshire Hills in Williamsburg, MA, is offering several free one-week residency opportunities in April for experienced makers. Residents enjoy private, creative work time, with housing provided. Residents will be chosen by lottery, three per each of the two week-long sessions, and studios will be assigned in the order of the drawing. The following studios are available during the Independent Residency: 2D/mixed media, flameworking, flat glass, ceramics, fiber, woodworking, metalsmithing and jewelry. Dome House Al & Mickey Quinlan Artist Residency

Whitefish Bay, located on Wisconsin’s Door Peninsula, has long been a creative haven for artists. Inspired by the history of the Dome House and the vibrant artistic community in Door County, this residency (August 4 – September 28, 2025) aims to give one artist the opportunity to create work in a unique environment providing inspiration and solitude. Open to artists working in fine art mediums and residing in the Midwest states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, or South Dakota. The program, created and led in partnership with the Miller Art Museum, also provides opportunities for public access to an artist at work through supplemental programming and educational content for the community. $500 stipend.
