Opportunities for Artists’ Residencies and Fellowships

The DoSeum in San Antonio, TX invites artists to apply for their upcoming Artist-In-Residence. The selected artist will receive 1,500 sq ft of exhibit space, a $5,000 honorarium and a $15,000 production budget to realize their concept. In celebration of our 10th anniversary, this year’s residency will center around the theme of birthday or celebration. Any visual artist, curator, or writer over 21 years old – based anywhere in the world, regardless of race, gender, culture, or religion – is eligible to apply for The Kyoto Retreat in Kyoto, Japan (October 16 – November 13, 2025). Includes roundtrip airfare, accommodations, and $800 USD stipend to supplement your meals and local transportation.
