This Thursday, it’s the Return of the Showcase with a brand new set of pieces from legendary Star Wars concept designer Ralph McQuarrie!
Ralph was originally commissioned by George Lucas in the ‘70s to create concept work based off of the original Star Wars script in order to better pitch the movie and story to film execs. Ralph’s galaxy-defining concept work became a foundational element for Star Wars, and holds a special place in so many fans’ hearts, and we’re excited to present another showcase featuring eight more epic pieces that helped define so much of the look and feel of the original trilogy, and the series as a whole. This time around, we’ve got a ton of spacecraft concept art, some Vader, and a particularly incredible Rancor pit fight piece that we adore.
