We’re starting off the week on a Marvel-ous high note with Todd McFarlane’s cover for Amazing Spider-Man #317!
1989’s Amazing Spider-Man #317 cover is a wildly cool follow-up to Todd’s beloved #316 cover, which featured Venom pummeling Spidey to smithereens. For #317, Todd spotlights the symbiote entangling Peter in a dark and inky web, with an incredible emphasis on Peter’s hands and fingers trying to rip free. Few artists captured Peter’s flexibility and acrobatic spider-skills better than Todd, and this cover perfectly illustrates that. Additionally, there’s the fun inclusion of a double corner box and Fantastic Four’s The Thing popping in for a small cover cameo.
As with previous comic cover releases, we’ve got large and comic-sized acrylic editions that show off Todd’s legendary Spidey art in unique and exciting ways!
Amazing Spider-Man #317 swings into our store on Monday (6/9) @ 12PM EST on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
