[El Paso, TX]

  • Angie B. Marie was born October 22, 1985 and raised in El Paso, TX.
  • Angie was influenced by such artist as, Paula Abdul, Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston, at the early age of 4 years old. She performed in her mother’s living room, standing on a crate with a broom stick and a banana as her microphone. During her elementary years Angie began performing her favorite artists’ songs at talent shows and Christmas shows, going on to win small competitions. This in turn led someone to inform her about tryouts for the El Paso Operas that were going to host various shows. She tried out at UTEP singing a rendition of Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You . She made the audition and performed in Carmina Buarana, and La Bohem .
  • In middle school she was in the choir and won several solo competitions. Her choir teacher, Ms. Grey Arvizo, pushed her to keep singing because she started loosing her way as a teen getting into trouble. Needless to say, singing has always been her gateway and only way she truly found peace.
  • Growing into a young adult she started writing and performing her own music at places like Speaking Rock, Cohen Stadium, and the Sun Bowl.
  • She competed at American idol and other similar local singing competitions.
  • She took a slow pace at music throughout adulthood to focus on her children. She had the opportunity to sing the American National Anthem at the EL Paso Chihuahuas Stadium. She is now pursuing music full time.
  • Her first single tilted “I’m A Boss” was an instant smash hit with its awesome locations,  visuals and strong lyrics!
