Guest and Curtis reportedly married at the house of Rob Reiner in 1984. Guest recently reprised his role as aging British rocker Nigel Tufnel in Spinal Tap II: The End Continues. The foursome also co-wrote the sequel which hit theaters in September. Guest also starred in Reiner’s 1987 family comedy The Princess Bride and 1992’s A Few Good Men.

Reiner received a standing ovation at the Hollywood premiere for Spinal Tap II back in September at the Egyptian Theater. Jack Black, former Paramount Studios and 20th Century Fox production boss Jim Gianopulos, Curtis, and more were among those in attendance.

Spinal Tap II, released by Bleecker Street, followed how Guest’s Nigel, Shearer’s Derek Smalls and McKean’s David St. Hubbins, reunited 15 years later for a reunion concert despite a lot of bad blood. The mockumentary sequel featured a slew of big performing artist cameos including Paul McCartney, Elton John, Garth Brooks and Questlove.
