Artist On the Rise: Jiggy Tone

Charlotte, NC artist, Jiggy Tone, has started to turn some heads in the music industry over the past few months. Social media can be a powerful tool when used the right way, and that’s exactly what he has been doing.

Jiggy Tone has stayed consistent in releasing content, most notably “Open Verse Challenges” for major artists such as Nic D, Russ, Ktlyn, and Forrest Frank (of Surfaces). These videos have gone on to capture the attention of a new audience for Jiggy, but they’ve also caught the eyes of some of the original artists as well. 

“I’m just trying to stay consistent, while also being myself. It’s always fun to put my own flavor on a song that I love, and more importantly one that listeners already know,” said Jiggy Tone when asked about his latest posts. He went on to say that, “anytime I get a new follower or someone that comments/likes my music, I try to reach out and thank them. We’re building a community of like-minded people, and it’s important to me that everyone knows how much I appreciate the love going around.”

While making content and keeping up with the “trends” of social media, Jiggy Tone has also found a way to continue to release his own original music as well. One of the key things that stood out to us about Jiggy’s discography is his versatility – he has songs that can be played in the club, one’s you can workout to, some that are good for a long drive on a rainy Sunday, and some that will even make hip-hop loyals appreciate his lyricism. Let’s just say that the sky’s the limit for this man, and we are excited to see who he starts to collaborate with as his popularity continues to rise. 

Jiggy was kind enough to allude to the fact that he has a tour coming up, but the details, artists, and locations will not be released until later this spring.
