Tate McRae’s album ‘So Close to What’ made a huge impact when it dropped back in March, landing straight at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Now she is ready to take it up a notch. On Saturday, she shared that a deluxe version is on the way, and it is coming fast, just two weeks from now. Fans can expect a few new songs added to the track list, giving the record a fresh twist while keeping the same emotion and fire that made it a hit in the first place. Tate’s not slowing down anytime soon, and it shows!!

“SO CLOSE TO WHAT??? (deluxe) is out november 21 !!!!! we had a few more songs that i wanted to share with y’all to close out the SC2W era. i can’t wait for you to hear,” Tate McRae posted on Instagram. As expected, comments from fans soon flooded the comment section. All of them showed nothing but excitement for this upcoming deluxe release. Some of the comments read, “So excited 💙💙💙”, “OH. MY. GOOOOODDDDDDDDDD!!!!”, “3 new songs?”, “KHZKAHZOSUDODHSODUWO MEU DEUS”, “BEEN WAITING FOR THISSSSS 😭”, “screaming crying throwing up”, etc.

Tate dropped a link for fans to pre-save or pre-order ‘So Close to What (The Deluxe Album)’. It will be out on Spotify and Apple Music. The record will also come out as a physical copy for those who love the real thing. Her fans can grab the CD for $11.98 or the vinyl for $39.98 straight from her webstore.

As of Sunday night, Tate McRae had not shared how many new songs will be on the deluxe version or what they are called. She is keeping fans guessing for now. Sunday also marked the end of her Miss Possessive Tour, which started in March and closed out with a big show at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. To wrap it all up, she posted a few behind-the-scenes photos from the final night, giving fans a glimpse of what went down. It felt like the perfect way to close one chapter and tease what is next.

Back in September, Tate McRae dropped her single ‘Tit for Tat. It was a song she had been teasing while on tour. It did not appear on the ‘So Close to What’ track list, but fans instantly connected with it. Many believe the track was inspired by her breakup with fellow pop star The Kid LAROI, giving it that raw edge people love from her. The song became her third top-five hit on the Hot 100, proving her momentum has not slowed at all. Before that, she scored big with ‘Greedy’ in 2024 and ‘What I Want’, her collaboration with Morgan Wallen that went all the way to No. 1.
