Catnado Trailer Promises to Blow Twisters Away With Cat-Astrophic Disaster Action

July 22, 2024 - Movies

True cinematic greatness only comes along every once in a while, and when it does you have to grab it with both hands. Well, prepare to have those hands torn to shreds as the next disaster movie classic is upon us in the form of Catnado, which has been described as Sharknado…but with cats. While Twisters may be causing a storm at the box office right now, Catnado has the silver screen ingredients necessary to blow the legacy sequel away. Namely, people running scared from the “meow-ssacre.” If you didn’t enjoy that purr-ticular pun (or that one), Catnado may not be for you…

But if you are a huge cat fan, or a tornado fan, or a fan of movie’s that are so bad they are great, then you can check out the trailer for Catnado below.

You can also check out the official synopsis for Catnado below. And, of course, it has cinematic greatness written all over it.

“The world faces a horrific onslaught of tornadoes, each unleashing hordes of enraged and deadly cats upon humanity! As chaos reigns, a disparate group of individuals have one mission: to stop this feline fury. But against such odds, and with only one life to spare per person, their battle becomes a cat-astrophic struggle for survival. And when the fur flies it will be a meow-ssacre!”

Disaster Movie Fans Are Eager to Enter the Catnado

Starring Erica Rowell Green, Joshua G Otto, Blair Kelly, Serena Salieri, and Tucky Williams, Catnado features nine (yes, nine) directors, including Donald Farmer, Curtis Everitt, Alaine Huntington, Blair Kelly, James M. Myers, Melvin Pittman, Tim Ritter, Jerry Williams, and Logan Winton. Each of whom presumably represents one of the lives of the Catnado.

Fearless fans who know a movie classic when they see it, and cannot wait to clap eyes on the cat-astrophic whirlwind of destruction and drama at the center of Catnado have taken to social media to declare the movie the next Best Picture winner. “Well I think we all know what is winning Best Picture this year,” says one user on X, with another adding, ““It’s like Sharknado, but with cats”. #Catnado is rumoured to be headed our way soon. The question is, with a total of nine directors behind the camera, will this film be “purfect” and spawn another successful franchise? Either way, I’m keen!”

Of course, not everyone is able to recognize cinematic poetry…even when it throws tons of cats at them via a giant tornado. “Nah… I’m just not feline this one,” says one doubting movie fan, while another adds, “Looks better than Cats The Musical to be fair.”
