Who killed Kiki Jerome on General Hospital and why?
Ryan Chamberlain murdered Kiki Jerome in November 2018 on General Hospital.
At the time, Ryan had taken over his twin brother, Dr. Kevin Collins’ identity, allowing him to move freely through Port Charles while hiding in plain sight. His obsession with Ava Jerome, Kiki’s mother, quickly turned deadly. After Ava told Kevin in confidence that she sometimes wished her daughter was not in her life, Ryan used that as a twisted justification to kill Kiki.
He didn’t hesitate. Ryan found Kiki and took her life in cold blood. Her body was discovered later on The Haunted Star, astounding everyone in the town. The grief hit Ava hardest. Already struggling with guilt and a fractured relationship with her daughter, Ava couldn’t escape the feeling that her own words had fueled the murder. Meanwhile, Ryan tried to shift the blame onto Griffin Munro, only making the fallout worse.
Kiki’s death came just as she was getting her life back on track. After years of messy family drama, heartbreak, and personal setbacks, including losing her father Silas and boyfriend Morgan, Kiki was trying to move forward. She focused on her nursing career.
Post her demise on the show, Kiki Jerome made one last appearance in General Hospital. In 2019, she returned briefly through psychic Sibley Gamble at Franco and Elizabeth’s wedding. Speaking through Sibley, Kiki confronted Ava and made it clear that she didn’t forgive her mother. General Hospital fans still wonder if Kiki Jerome might somehow be alive. Some believe Griffin saved her in secret, or that the body found wasn’t hers. But as of 2025, the show hasn’t given any hints that she survived.
