Sandra Bullock-led Ocean’s 8 to stream on Netflix in November

Ocean’s 8 will begin streaming on Netflix on November 1, 2025. It will be available on the streaming giant alongside Crazy Rich Asians, Doctor Sleep, Ready Player One, The Nun II, Tenet, Dr. Dolittle, Dr. Dolittle 2, Paddington 2, Wonka, and more.

Ocean’s 8 premiered in theaters on June 8, 2018, after having its world premiere at Alice Tully Hall in New York City, New York, on June 5, 2018. The movie was a success at the global box office and received mostly positive reviews from critics. It currently holds a 69% approval rating on the review-aggregating site Rotten Tomatoes after 361 reviews.

Ocean’s 8, therefore, has the third-best RT score in the franchise, ahead of 1960’s Ocean’s Eleven (47%) and 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve (55%), but behind 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven (83%) and 2007’s Ocean’s Thirteen (70%).

The plot of Ocean’s 8 revolves around Debbie Ocean as she gathers a team of equally talented women to pull off an incredible heist. At the start of the movie, Debbie visits the grave of her brother, Danny Ocean, portrayed by George Clooney in most entries in the franchise (Frank Sinatra played the character in the 1960 movie). However, as the plot progresses, it is hinted that Danny might not be dead. The filmmakers effectively confirmed Danny’s fate with the announcement of Ocean’s 14. Additionally, a prequel film is also in development at Warner Bros.
