The video teases Bautista’s reunion with Guardians of the Galaxy co-star Pom Klementieff, who will now play each other’s enemies in the upcoming movie. It also continues to hype up Bautista’s thrilling fighting sequences, as his character fends off a bunch of hitmen after he regretfully puts out a kill contract on himself.
The Killer’s Game is directed by J.J. Perry from a screenplay written by Rand Ravich and James Coyne based on Jay R. Bonansinga’s novel of the same name. Besides Bautista and Klementieff, the film also stars Sofia Boutella, Terry Crews, Ben Kingsley, Scott Adkins, Drew McIntyre, Daniel Bernhardt, Lee Hoon, and more. It is produced by Andrew Lazar, Steve Richards, and Kia Jam.
“When top hitman Joe Flood is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides to take matters into his own hands – by taking a hit out on himself,” reads the film’s synopsis. “But when the very hitmen he hired also target his ex-girlfriend, he must fend off an army of assassin colleagues and win back the love of his life before it’s too late.”
