Free Guy 2 does not have a release date as of this writing. However, the film could come out in 2026.
The 2026 release date is because the script of the film needs to be redeveloped, thanks to the release and impact of Barbie, which would take quite a while, then after that, the film needs to be greenlit by the producers over at Disney and 20th Century Studios, which will also take a while. Then by the time filming begins, it will be 2024 and filming could take place anywhere between six months to a year, ultimately ending in 2025.
Moreover, Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy are currently working on Deadpool 3, after which they will likely fully delve into the development and production process of Free Guy 2.
