Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
According to Reality Steve, Jenn’s ex is Matthew Rossi. A visit to his Instagram page reveals that Matt is a digital creator from Boston. He has a beloved dachshund named Kirkland.
In December 2023, before Joey’s Bachelor season aired, Jenn shared a TikTok video in which she explained how her ex-boyfriend, whom she nicknamed “Weiner Boy,” indirectly helped her to get into physician assistant school. “Weiner Boy” was later revealed to be Matthew.
Jenn explained that three years before, she’d moved to Boston right out of college and started dating Matthew. She nicknamed him “Weiner Boy” because of his dachshund. Jenn admitted that she was “completely head over heels in love with him” and wanted to marry him. However, three months later, he dumped her, and she was devastated because it was the first real relationship that she had after college. Jenn confessed that she felt like she had lost everything.
Jenn needed to get away, so her friend asked her if she wanted to go to Miami, Florida, and she agreed. She had a lot of fun there, and applied to physician assistant school there. She applied to ten schools, and she only got into the one in Miami. Jenn then said that, if Matthew hadn’t dumped her, she would never have gone to Miami and applied to school there, so she felt that “everything truly happens for a reason.”

The Bachelorette season 21 star Jenn Tran had to make some difficult decisions during her premiere. Here are the seven men to whom she said goodbye.
In a February 2024 TikTok video, Matthew confirmed that he was “Weiner Boy,” and his ex went on The Bachelor. He told the story through Kirkland, pretending that the dog was talking. Matthew said that, when he was 24 years old, he was living in Boston with his three best friends. The COVID-19 pandemic had just ended, and he was single, so he went on the Hinge app, where he met Jenn.
Matthew admitted that he wasn’t ready for a relationship, but he and Jenn stayed friends. He then made Kirkland jokingly say that he was “using her for clout,” which was a great way to address critics who might say the same thing. Matthew ended the video by saying that Jenn should give him “another shot.”
Matthew can be found on Instagram at @themattyrossi. He has many posts that feature his friends and family, and, of course, Kirkland. Jenn and Matt still follow each other on Instagram.
Matt shared an Instagram story about five minutes after The Bachelorette trailer aired that teased his arrival. It had a photograph of his dog looking skeptically at the camera, with the caption, “Can we change the channel?” Matt’s reaction seemed to reveal that he might be a bit embarrassed by his appearance on the show, even though his identity wasn’t revealed.
It’s going to be very interesting to see if Jenn allows Matthew to join The Bachelorette season 21. Matthew obviously realized that he’d made a big mistake when he broke up with Jenn, so he’ll surely be trying his best to win her back. Since she was once in love with him, and they’ve remained friends, it’s possible that she might want to give their relationship another chance. Jenn’s Bachelorette season 21 journey is about to get even more exciting.
