Oi, listen to this! It’s groovy, fun, upbeat, and has a good tempo behind it. The song wreaks of quality, though to be honest I’ve grown to expect nothing less from Catching Flies.
“Oi” comes as George King’s latest single, set to be included on his upcoming sophomore album (to be released late 2022). The song was inspired “by the feeling of those long, hot school holiday summers in London in my teens; listening to MJ Cole, Wookie, Artful Dodger and having crushes on people who didn’t feel the same way”.
I’ve been to London a few times, but never as a teen, and never listening to the aforementioned acts. But if I channel this song into my imagination and give it a shot, it sounds like a pretty rad summer holiday to me.
