Originally from rural Tennessee and now residing in Munich, William Evans is the very promising Phantom Youth.
On June 17th, “All you light” was released independently, and running at barely two and a half minutes, this is a gorgeous little ode to taking chances. Starting with just the distorted guitar riff for a couple of seconds, the drums kick in and the song shifts into second gear. The effect placed on the vocals give this single a cozy and dreamy vibe.
I’m very excited to hear what else this young man has for us, for now we only know there’s five more songs coming in the next few months, leading to an EP (tentatively) dropping late October.
