Artists, 18 and over and residing in the US, may submit a maximum of 6 original works of art created in any media within the last 5 years, and not previously exhibited at the Art House. ARC Gallery in Chicago, IL announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, October 26 – November 17, 2023. Juror: Danielle Andress. We invite artists of all backgrounds and mediums to submit works that explore the challenges and threats faced by children growing up in the world today. From the looming threat of global warming and natural disasters to the rise of school shootings and the erosion of civil rights, young people today face unprecedented challenges that will shape their lives and the future of the planet they inhabit. $40 for 1-3 images. $10 for each additional image. The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit works of art in any media, any genre/style, and any size. Exhibitors receive a $50 honorarium. Artists will seek out an instructor who has been a key teacher to them or whose work they particularly respect and ‘tap’ them to participate in this project submission. The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit works of art in any media, any genre/style, any size for consideration to be awarded this year’s Manifest Prize. One work will be selected for the $5,000 award, featured in the gallery, and published. Four semi-finalist works will also be recognized and published. These works will each be awarded $250. Open to everyone. The only limitation is that entries must represent original works of visual art, design, or high craftsmanship of any kind, and were completed within the past 5 years (2018-2023). Artist applications are now open for the largest annual exhibit of public sculptures in the world – SculptureWalk Sioux Falls, May 2024 – April 2025 in Downtown Sioux Falls, SD. $1,500 Stipend, Travel. Professional and amateur sculptors of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply to be part of the 2024 exhibit, which will be the organization’s 21st year of bringing art to the people. The Minnetrista Museum & Gardens in Muncie announces a call to artists. Selected pieces will be displayed in one of two sister exhibits on display at Minnetrista Museum & Gardens and the Anderson Museum of Art, November 4, 2023 – January 7, 2024. Awards totaling $1500. Juror: Walt Bistline. This annual art competition and exhibition encourages artists to derive creative inspiration from the land. Any artist 18 years of age or older who is a present or former resident of Indiana is eligible to enter. Eligible artwork must have been completed within the last three years and may be in any media excluding video art. Submitted work must address “the spirit of open space with reference to the land.” Artists must be able to submit their works in person for consideration on either Sunday, October 8, or Monday, October 9.
