Melissa Ann Bustamante, born and raised in El Paso, Texas is a single, hard-working mom who strives above and beyond to make her kids proud while still pursuing her dream as a singer. Her aspiration in becoming a famous singer and having her voice heard, began at two years old. In middle and high school, being part of the choir, she ended up doing solos in multiple state competitions, and was pushed to sing in multiple languages. She took on first chair numerous times, winning many awards by having her voice heard after long countless voice rehearsals. Her desire in wanting her voice to be heard, had her singing in church choirs where her mom was very involved in, wanting nothing more but for her kids to use their gifts to praise the Lord. But Melissa yearned for more.
As her singing career was put on hold due to having kids at a young age, and multiple life experiences that got in the way, singing was still something she would always do and was well known to have a beautiful voice by her family, friends, and peers. Whether it was limit to in the showers, to her kids, doing house-mom chores, or at church, Melissa still dram the same dream.
Now, at 40 years old, with continuous support from her family and kids, she can finally say that she is back on the road, given the chance to finally pursue her lifelong dream, as a Latin-American singer.
