Artists nationwide are invited to apply for the Madison Chautauqua Festival of Arts, held September 28-29, 2024 along the Ohio River in Madison, Indiana. Awards: Best in Show, Best Presentation, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Fine Craft, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Fine Art, 2 Honorable Mentions. Eligible categories: painting (2D artists may sell prints but must include originals, as well), drawing, photography, sculpture, weaving, folk art, jewelry, fiber, wood, baskets, clay, glass, paper and leather. Individual consideration of a media not listed may be given upon request. All work must be handmade and individually designed by the artist. Multiples of the same general design must be signed. Northville Art House in Northville, MI announces a call to artists for a plein air art exhibition, August 2-23, 2024. Awards: 1st – 4th, Honorable Mentions. The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit original photographic-based works that re-engage the body, acknowledge their place in the physical world, and explore the impacts of choice of surface, volume, texture, material, and presentation methods on the experience of the image itself – the spirit in the body of the art. Through a range of photographic interpretations of various topographical regions, Horizon will encompass various ways of describing and documenting the landscape. Posterity Gallery seeks submissions for an art exhibition that connects local artists with businesses in Downtown Grosse Pointe, Michigan, September 5-30, 2024. Solo Exhibition, Artist Prizes, Spotlights, Interviews. Jurors: Katherine Huber (Art Director) & Cindy Wilcock (Main Street Director). Gallery Seven in Lockport, IL announces a call to artists for Illiart 2024, a juried exhibition for 2D and 3D artists who work and live in Illinois. Steven Alan Bennett and Dr. Elaine Melotti Schmidt, founders of The Bennett Collection, are pleased to announce a call for entries for The Bennett Prize, a biennial award that seeks to propel the careers of women figurative realist painters who have not yet realized full professional recognition, empowering new artists and those who have painted for many years.
