The Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts in Providence, RI seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, March 21 – April 12, 2024. $1000 in cash prizes. Juror: Karen Haas. We are looking to bring together image makers from around the world to survey current photographic practice across a full spectrum of image capture, presentation and subject matter. We are looking to assemble for a gallery exhibition, a collection of work that reflects the range of current photographic practice across the world in 2024. The Town of Concord, Massachusetts is pleased to announce a Call for Art. On a prominently situated lawn in historic Concord Center, we seek a temporary art installation to creatively interpret the ways in which people have struggled for the fight for freedom through time in Concord, Massachusetts. Semi-finalists will receive a $500 stipend to refine their concepts. The artist/creative team selected for installation will receive $20,000 to execute their work. Artists, aged 18 and over, working individually or in teams, in any phase of their career are encouraged to apply. Preference given to designs that support more diverse, inclusive, and equitable public art and creatively respond to the proposed site. We encourage imaginative interpretation of the theme and invite a variety of conceptual approaches, materials, scale, and design. The Allegany Arts Council in Cumberland, Maryland seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, March 30 – April 20, 2024. $7500 in awards. Juror: Sarah Stolfa. Submitted images should originate as lens-based photographs created solely by the entrant. They may not incorporate images produced by anyone or anything else (for example, clip art, replacement skies, stock photos or AI-generated images). In addition, all entries must be for sale. No entries will be accepted which have been previously exhibited in the Allegany Arts Council galleries. Although there is no restriction on when entries were created, artists are encouraged to enter their latest work. The New England Sculptors Association and the Cape Cod Museum of Art seek entries for an outdoor sculpture exhibition, April 14 – November 16, 2024 at The Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis, MA. Two $250 awards. Works must be three-dimensional and the theme is open. Sculptures should be suitable for long-term, outdoor exposure, fabricated and installed in a viewer-safe manner. The Rehoboth Art League announces a call to artists for 2025 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals. Open to members and non-members. This is a very competitive program as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Artworks in any media will be reviewed. The RAL is situated in the town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, a highly traveled area not only by the residents of this and the expanding surrounding communities, but also by art patrons from the Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York metropolitan areas. Over 29,000 people participate in Rehoboth Art League programs annually. Special exhibitions have played an important part of our programming since the league’s beginning, in1938.
