Cape Cod Open Sculpture Invitational 2024 Outdoor Call for Art

The New England Sculptors Association and the Cape Cod Museum of Art seek entries for an outdoor sculpture exhibition, April 14 – November 16, 2024 at The Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis, MA. Two $250 awards. Works must be three-dimensional and the theme is open. Sculptures should be suitable for long-term, outdoor exposure, fabricated and installed in a viewer-safe manner. Sculptures should be installed in a manner that is sensitive to the natural environment. Sculptures that need maintenance during the exhibition or that differ significantly from submitted images may be excluded. $25 for up to 3 works. Deadline: February 28, 2024. More info. The Phillips’ Mill Community Association seeks entries for a photography exhibition that will run, March 31 – April 19, 2024 in the historic Phillips’ Mill in New Hope, PA, the birthplace of the Arts Movement in the Delaware Valley ninety-five years ago. Vita Paper Arts Residency – Summer 2024

Pyramid Atlantic Art Center in Hyattsville, MD offers a 3-month paper arts residency, May 15 – August 17, 2024. Adirondack Plein Air Festival

Saranac Lake ArtWorks invites Plein air artists, 18 and older, to apply for the 16th Adirondack Plein Air Festival. Applicants are asked to submit 3 images of their plein air paintings. Forty painters will be selected for participation in the 6-day event, held in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of northern New York, source of inspiration for the Hudson River School artists of the 19th century. There’s a “Meet the Artists” reception, a Nocturne Contest, the “Paint the Town” Silent Auction, a Quickdraw Competition, and a huge Show & Sale that opens with the Special Preview Party Reception & Awards on Friday night Aug 16. On Aug 17, the Show & Sale is free and open from 12-5 pm. $5000+ in awards. Our juror, accomplished PA artist Valerie Craig, will also conduct a 2 day plein air workshop on Aug 10-11. Burlington Sculpture Park (Round 3)

The New England Sculptors Association seeks outdoor sculpture for Burlington Sculpture Park in Burlington, MA. $2,250 stipend for a two-year loan. Sculptures should be suitable for long-term, outdoor exposure, fabricated and installed in a viewer-safe manner. Works should not exceed 12 feet in height. Sculptures should be installed in a manner that is sensitive to the natural environment. Sculptures that need maintenance during the exhibition may be excluded. The Town of Burlington will assist in installation, including concrete pads, if needed. Politicized works will not be welcome. 26th Bethesda Row Arts Festival

Artists nationwide are invited to apply for the Bethesda Row Arts Festival, one of the leading fine arts and craft festivals in the mid-Atlantic, featuring juried museum-quality artists. $5,500 in awards. Cerulean Arts Gallery and Studio in Philadelphia, PA seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, June 19 – July 14, 2024. 2025 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals

The Rehoboth Art League announces a call to artists for 2025 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals. Open to members and non-members. This is a very competitive program as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Artworks in any media will be reviewed. The RAL is situated in the town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, a highly traveled area not only by the residents of this and the expanding surrounding communities, but also by art patrons from the Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York metropolitan areas. Over 29,000 people participate in Rehoboth Art League programs annually. Special exhibitions have played an important part of our programming since the league’s beginning, in1938. Upstream Gallery Membership

Upstream Gallery in Hastings on Hudson, NY is currently welcoming membership applications from area artists. Submissions are reviewed each month. New members are voted into the gallery by a majority vote of the existing membership after an evaluation of work examined via the applicant’s website and actual examples of art submitted for review. Member artists are expected to participate in the operation of the gallery, which includes working at the gallery one or two days a month, installing, or taking down shows, helping with our newsletter or numerous other tasks and responsibilities.
