The Creede Arts Council seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, May 25th through July 31 at the Creede Repertory Theatre in Creede, CO. Cash awards for Best in Show, 2nd and 3rd Place and two Honorable Mention awards. Juror: Theresa Haberkorn. The Annual National Small Print Show (NSPS) is a unique, juried art show of matted hand-pulled prints. Artists from all 50 states and Canada are invited to submit up to 3 original prints to exhibit and sell. Prints must be matted and backed with white mat board. The Magic Valley Arts Council seeks entries for the 14th annual Art & Soul of the Magic Valley, a major non-juried art competition held in Twin Falls, Idaho, June 7-29, 2024. Artists worldwide are invited to submit only one artwork for a chance to win up to $50,000 in prize money. Prizes include Grand Prize, Second, Third, and Fourth overall, as well as category-specific awards. All submitted artworks will be physically displayed in local businesses serving as pop-up art galleries. Winners will be determined by public vote during the event, which attracts around 40,000 attendees, making it one of the most beloved art shows in the Western US. Artists are invited to apply for the 29th Annual Balboa Island Artwalk, held May 19th, 2024. The Artwalk takes place on the South Bayfront Promenade of Balboa Island from Marine Ave. to Pearl Ave. and features over a mile of art and live music. This is a juried fine art show. We accept Southern California artists exhibiting paintings, fine jewelry, blown glass, sculpture, and/or photography. Each artist will have a 20ft x 3ft space along the sea wall. Show fee: $250.00. The Colored Pencil Society of America seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, July 20-Sept 15, 2024 at Brea Gallery in Brea, California. $5,000 for CIPPY Best of Show, and more than $22,000 in cash prizes. Juror: Julie Perlin Lee. Artwork must be 100% colored pencil on a manufacturer-prepared surface. Must be solely the original concept, design, and execution of the submitting artist, and must have been created since Jan 2021. The Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce seeks artists for the Ruidoso Art Festival, an annual indoor, juried fine art show held July 26-28, 2024 at the Ruidoso Convention Center. Ruidoso, NM is located in the Sacramento Mountains at an elevation of 7,000 feet, and we attract visitors from all over New Mexico, West Texas and Arizona that come to escape the summer heat. The City of Brighton, CO invites artists to embark on an exciting endeavor – transforming traffic signal boxes into captivating public art installations across the community. These creatively wrapped boxes aim to enhance neighborhood identity, turn ordinary spaces into creative landmarks, and encourage engaging conversations within our community. Six traffic signal boxes have been strategically selected for this project, ensuring a widespread and accessible showcase for the selected artworks. The City of Greeley announces a call to artists for the 45th Annual Arts Picnic, a Northern Colorado favorite! The event is held July 27 & 28, 2024 at Lincoln Park in Greeley, CO and includes 175+ artists and crafters booths, 8-10 food trucks, kids activities, a beer tent, and 2 stages to include 14 total preformances. Expected attendance is approximately 20,000 people. Open to all artists in any fine art or fine craft medium exhibiting his or her own handmade work of art. Holy Name Catholic Church in Steamboat Springs, CO invites 2D artists from around the country to participate in a highly reverent display of art featuring the Most Blessed Sacrament, The Eucharist. Catholic artists are highly encouraged to participate, but all artists, regardless of religion, are welcome to submit art.
