PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, VT seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, June 7-28, 2024. 35 images will be selected for exhibition in the gallery, and up to 40 for our Online Gallery. Request for Qualifications: TEMPOart 2025 Project Commission

TEMPOart seeks artists, architects, designers, and landscape architects to design and realize a temporary outdoor public work of art. The installation will be located at the plaza of City Hall on Congress Street in Portland, ME. The maximum budget is $25,000 (inclusive of artist fees and any associated travel). We seek work that will be a catalyst for our mission to spark dialogue, build community, and inspire our collective imagination. The Maryland Federation of Art seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, August 28 – September 21, 2024 at Maryland Hall in Annapolis, MD. Cash awards total $1000. Juror: Chan Chao. The Americas (North America, Hawaii, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America) are home to some of the world’s most powerful and striking landscapes. Whether urban, rural, or suburban, landscapes are always changing – sometimes the changes are welcome, and others can lead to unintended consequences. Drawn From Life 2024: Gesture and Line

Upstream Gallery in Hastings on Hudson, NY announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, July 25 – August 18, 2024. Drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture are all eligible for this juried show. Successful entries will demonstrate clear thematic relationships among two or more pieces. Photography is not eligible for this exhibition; we hold a separate show for photographic work. Maximum framed size may not exceed 30 x 40 inches. Accepted pieces must be properly wired or mounted for hanging. 3-D work must be ready for wall-mounting or have a base included. 2025 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals

The Rehoboth Art League announces a call to artists for 2025 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals. Open to members and non-members. This is a very competitive program as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Artworks in any media will be reviewed. The RAL is situated in the town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, a highly traveled area not only by the residents of this and the expanding surrounding communities, but also by art patrons from the Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York metropolitan areas. Over 29,000 people participate in Rehoboth Art League programs annually. Special exhibitions have played an important part of our programming since the league’s beginning, in1938. The RAL campus houses the Corkran, Tubbs, Ventures, and Homestead galleries. $25 for members / $45 for non-members. (non-refundable). Deadline: July 21, 2024 (midnight). More info. Upstream Gallery Membership

Upstream Gallery in Hastings on Hudson, NY is currently welcoming membership applications from area artists. Submissions are reviewed each month. New members are voted into the gallery by a majority vote of the existing membership after an evaluation of work examined via the applicant’s website and actual examples of art submitted for review. Member artists are expected to participate in the operation of the gallery, which includes working at the gallery one or two days a month, installing, or taking down shows, helping with our newsletter or numerous other tasks and responsibilities.
