The George A. and Eliza Gardner Howard Foundation seeks proposals from artists in any field who work beyond or between recognized arts genres and practices, particularly those which engage digital, multimedia, or other innovative technologies. With respect to projects employing new Artificial Intelligence tools, competitive applications will clearly demonstrate the human creative intelligence and artistic vision driving such explorations. In accordance with the fellowship program’s overall goal of supporting early mid-career artists and scholars, applicants should have a record of exhibitions, performances, or other forms of public visibility for their work and demonstrate a promising program of creative development, expression, and experimentation. The Portrait Society of America seeks entries for The Members Only Competition, open to all Portrait Society members in good standing. First place winners in each category receive either complimentary tuition to the annual conference or a museum quality Sargent palette. The Henry Hering Art and Architecture Award is presented as the occasion warrants by the National Sculpture Society for outstanding collaboration between architect, owner and sculptor in the distinguished use of sculpture in an architectural project. The use of figurative or realist sculpture is of greatest interest. The jury is looking for excellence in an architectural project in which the architect collaborated with the sculptor and owner of a site.
