The University of Wisconsin seeks images for outreach communications with a wide range of stakeholders from farmers, to consumers, to policymakers. Photographic images are accepted. Monochrome and polychrome accepted. Post-production permitted. Everyone is welcome to submit entries for this competition, including students, hobbyists and professionals, youth and adults. $50 gift cards will be awarded. Separate awards given for under 18 yo, and over 18 yo. We welcome photos illustrating key concepts of crop diversification, perennial crops, integrated forage-livestock systems, and agricultural resilience to climate change. We accept image scales from close-up to landscape. Drone photography accepted. We will not accept photo submissions of livestock in Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs), feedlots, transport vehicles, or slaughter facilities.
