RM Hints at New BTS Music, Promises Fans Something Worth the Wait

RM from BTS hinted that a new album from the band might be on its way! According to the leader of the K-pop boyband in South Korea, the album might come with a tour!

BTS  fans have a lot to be excited about right now.  RM just gave a fresh update that makes it sound like the comeback everyone has been waiting for is closer than ever. The leader of the group shared that he and the rest of the members, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, have been locked in the studio. According to RM, the entire band is working hard on new music. And from what he says, it is all going great.

In a recent post on Weverse shared Tuesday, November 11, RM wrote that “above all,” the new songs are “coming out really well!!” He also added in Korean, “Everyone’s trying. Please look forward to it.” It was a small message, but it was more than enough to send ARMY into full excitement mode.

 Fans have known for a while that BTS was gearing up for their official return. The group reunited publicly back in July after spending about two years apart, each fulfilling their South Korean military service. That moment alone was emotional for fans, but the band did not stop there. BTS confirmed that they have a new album in the works, planned for release in 2026, along with a world tour.

RM later gave a bit more detail in October during W Korea’s Love Your W event in Seoul. Talking about what’s next for BTS, he said, “We have to keep preparing for the album – we’ll shoot the album photos and film the music video. Please look forward to late March.” That hint made fans wonder if the comeback might drop sooner than the full album next year. Of course, living up to their last era will be a big challenge. BTS became unstoppable in 2020 with three No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, while their album ‘Be’ and the 2022 compilation ‘Proof’ both topped the Billboard 200. That kind of success is hard to beat. But if anyone can raise the bar again, it is BTS.

RM recently reminded everyone of that at the APEC CEO Summit in South Korea, where he said that pushing limits and breaking expectations is what BTS does best. It feels like this comeback is not solely focused on returning. This might be the project that will prove once again why they changed the game in the first place. “BTS first started to go outside Korea about 10 years ago,” RM spoke at the event. “At that time, the music of BTS was quickly called ‘non-English, foreign culture.’ Trying to get on mainstream media through our music was like doing an experiment and a huge challenge. It was a test to see if ‘music in Korean can work on the global stage.’” “We overcame those barriers,” the BTS rapper continued. “ARMY was the force that broke down those barriers. They use our music as the medium to carry out conversations that cross borders and languages.”
