From America to South Korea, the animated movie has dominated chatter online for weeks, and millions of fans are desperate to learn about KPop Demon Hunters‘ sequel. But before that follow-up goes live, Marvel is ready to tap into the golden series with the perfect successor.

After all, there is one girl in the world who could match Rumi’s vibes. Marvel just announced Seol Hee, better known as Luna Snow, is preparing to make a solo comeback in 2026. The South Korean superstar-slash-superhero has never been more relevant in the wake of KPop Demon Hunters, and the idol is ready for her close-up.

According to Marvel, January 2026 will usher in the series debut of Luna Snow: World Tour #1. The series, overseen by writer Greg Pak, will follow Seol as she reels in the wake of One World Under Doom. With the hero’s life in shambles, Luna Snow faces rock bottom with her reputation in ruin and popularity at an all-time low. Things are made worse when a rival K-idol named Vibe makes their debut in South Korea as they enchant Luna’s fans. But when the hero discovers the truth behind Vibe’s unnatural charm, Luna is forced to hit the stage once more to save her fans and the world itself.

According to Pak, Luna Snow: World Tour is going to be loaded with energy as it balanced action with K-pop drama. “We get to dig deep into what it means to be both a pop star and a superhero at a time when fascists and exploiters have very specific uses for pop stars and superheroes,” he teased. “We’ve got a fantastic new K-pop villain named Vibe, a couple of big surprise Marvel guest stars, and absolutely top-tier art from Ario Anindito and Tak Miyazawa. The art pops, the book rocks, and you do not wanna miss it!”

With artists Anindito and Miyazawa on board, Luna Snow’s comeback is looking more interesting by the day. And in the wake of KPop Demon Hunters, well — you can see why Marvel is so invested in this upcoming drop.

Marvel’s K-pop Superstar Is Overdue For a Comeback

Recognized as Netflix’s most-watched original of all time, KPop Demon Hunters is the definition of lightning in a bottle. Its visuals are unmatched, and when paired with catchy songs, the movie’s emotional storyline is hard to beat. Introduced in 2018, Luna Snow has plenty in common with KPop Demon Hunters‘ very own heroines, so the right time for a revival is right now.

Luna has faced a number of demons, both literally and figuratively, in her time as a superhero. The girls of Hunter/x are much the same as Rumi, Mira, and Zoey know firsthand the difficulties that come with being on the global stage. When the artists aren’t on stage saving fans, they are on the battlefield trying to save the world. The success of KPop Demon Hunters is making Luna Snow’s story all the more tantalizing, so Marvel has a lot to live up to with this new series. After all, Rumi’s followers have high standards, and Luna Snow has a lot to prove following her unsavory actions in Marvel’s One World Under Doom event. Yikes!

Luna Snow: World Tour #1 will hit shelves on January 14, 2026.
