The Oxford Arts Alliance in Oxford, PA seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, October 6-28. $500 First Place, $250 Second Place, $150 Third Place. Juror: Stuart Shils. Originally authored artwork in all media is eligible. We consider any work created with an Artificial Intelligence program that uses sources the artist does not own or hold rights to, to be ineligible. The Arts and Cultural Heritage Division (ACHD) of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Prince George’s Department of Parks and Recreation invites individual artists and artist teams to submit applications for exterior sculptural artwork to be installed on a temporary basis (October 2023-October 2025) at the Montpelier Arts Center in Laurel, Maryland. The Girls Who Paint Gallery in Kensington, MD seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, September 28 – October 28, 2023. Jurors: Angie Meche Kilcullen & Sarah Renzi Sanders. Whether you are pro-Barbie or anti-Barbie, her impact is undeniable. Despite Mattel’s efforts to make Barbie more diverse over the years, the fact remains that Barbie has both positively and negatively affected young girls. We welcome U.S. artists (18 and older) from all backgrounds to submit their artistic interpretation of the doll that changed everything. The Miniature Painters, Sculptors & Gravers Society of Washington, DC seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, November 18, 2023 through January 9, 2024 at The Mansion at Strathmore in North Bethesda, MD. Approx $9,000 in awards. Juror: Robin Holliday. Original Miniature art works in any traditional media, prints from original plates, and sculptures will be considered, providing they have not been exhibited at previous MPSGS shows. The Wayne Art Center in Wayne, PA is seeking submissions for a juried exhibition of contemporary fine craft, December 2, 2023 – January 20, 2024. The Cape Cod Art Center in Barnstable, MA announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, October 16 – November 13, 2023. Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) invites all artists residing in any of the states or territories of the US, Canada, or Mexico to enter our 21st annual Small Wonders exhibition, Nov 29 – Dec 23, 2023 at the MFA’s Circle Gallery in Annapolis, Maryland. $1,000 in awards. Juror: Lillian Bayley Hoover, Professor at Towson University. This exhibition is for artists who dream big but work small. Work is limited to under 11 inches in all directions, but there’s no limit on creativity or media. The Council for the Arts in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania seeks entries for a juried miniature art exhibition, November 3 – December 23, 2023.
