apexart is accepting exhibition proposals for its NYC Open Call. Five winning proposals will receive up to a $10k exhibition budget and become apexart exhibitions presented at apexart’s NYC space as part of its 2024-25 exhibition season. Curators, artists, writers, and creative individuals, regardless of experience level or location, are invited to submit a proposal online. Proposals should describe focused, idea-driven, original group exhibitions. No biographical information, CVs, links, or images will be accepted. Submissions cannot exceed 500 words and must be in English. AH Arts seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, December 9, 2023 – January 6, 2024 at the AHArts Gallery in Atlantic Highlands, NJ. Juror: Seth Ruggles Hiler. Boundaries – whether in visual line and shape, cartography, or relationship dynamics – can be a source of pain and tension or offer a sense of security, health, strength, and beauty. This annual juried show invites artists to mine the poetic, aesthetic dimensions of boundaries: hard and fluid; literal and imagined; challenging and nourishing; transcended or contained. Open to all artists in the U.S., 18 years and older. Two-dimensional work must not exceed 36″ (including frame) in any direction. Three-dimensional work must not exceed 24″ or 50 lbs. Pedestals and all ancillary equipment must be provided by the artist. Artwork must be original creations not previously exhibited at AHArts. The Bristol Art Museum in Bristol, RI seeks entries for a national juried exhibition, February 4 – March 24, 2024. Juror: Karen Drysdale Harris. This exhibit challenges conventional boundaries, inviting artists to create artwork that expresses ideas about the natural world. Our goal is to venture into the intricate interplay between the elemental forces of nature and the profound depths of human consciousness. We are seeking submissions that capture the essence of “Breadth and Depth,” and that are suitable for mailing in an envelope no larger than 12″x15″ (no boxes, please). The artwork can vary in size, from small to large when unfolded, additionally both the envelope and its contents can be considered as one unified artwork (optional). We invite you to push the limits of artistic expression and embrace the tactile experience. Works will be pinned (no holes in work) or adhered to the walls, suspended, placed on a pedestal or on the floor. The Rehoboth Art League announces a call to artists for 2025 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals. Open to members and non-members. This is a very competitive program as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Artworks in any media will be reviewed. The RAL is situated in the town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, a highly traveled area not only by the residents of this and the expanding surrounding communities, but also by art patrons from the Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York metropolitan areas. Over 29,000 people participate in Rehoboth Art League programs annually. Special exhibitions have played an important part of our programming since the league’s beginning, in1938.
