Submit your work to the NATO mural competition – an opportunity to showcase your talent and artistic vision of the future. NATO is calling on young artists (under 35) from across the Alliance to submit artwork featuring their interpretation of peace, security, unity and freedom for the celebration of the Alliance’s 75th anniversary. The winner will get to work with a street artist to feature their mural permanently on a wall in the city and top entries will be displayed at an exhibition at the 2024 NATO Summit venue in Washington D.C. This is NATO’s 2nd mural competition, back in January 2024, NATO unveiled its public mural, created by street artists in Vilnius, Lithuania to celebrate the summit held in the city in 2023 and symbolise NATO’s collective defence mission. The Providence Art Club invites artists from across the United States to apply for its popular annual National Open Juried Exhibition, held June 23 – July 19, 2024 at The Providence Art Club in Providence, Rhode Island. $6,000 in Prizes, Top Award of $1,000. Juried by curator Michelle Millar Fisher, of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The Art Club has received coveted Best of Rhode Island Awards for Best Art Gallery in Providence each year since 2019. The Rehoboth Art League announces a call to artists for 2025 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals. Open to members and non-members. This is a very competitive program as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Artworks in any media will be reviewed. The RAL is situated in the town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, a highly traveled area not only by the residents of this and the expanding surrounding communities, but also by art patrons from the Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York metropolitan areas. Over 29,000 people participate in Rehoboth Art League programs annually. Special exhibitions have played an important part of our programming since the league’s beginning, in1938. Upstream Gallery in Hastings on Hudson, NY is currently welcoming membership applications from area artists. Submissions are reviewed each month. New members are voted into the gallery by a majority vote of the existing membership after an evaluation of work examined via the applicant’s website and actual examples of art submitted for review. Member artists are expected to participate in the operation of the gallery, which includes working at the gallery one or two days a month, installing, or taking down shows, helping with our newsletter or numerous other tasks and responsibilities.
