Summerlin Festival of Arts is celebrating its 28th year in 2024 at The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas, NV, a walkable open-air shopping, dining and entertainment destination located in the heart of the Summerlin master planned community. The three-day event will take place October 11-13, 2024, and features the works of more than 100 celebrated fine artists thoughtfully selected by a panel of art experts. The Carbondale Clay Center in Carbondale, Colorado announces a call to artists for a juried exhibition, August 26 – October 5, 2024. Best in Show: $500, Staff Selection: $250, People’s Choice: $100. Juror: Sanam Emami. Open to all types of ceramics / ceramics materials: utilitarian pots or sculptural ceramics. Submission should be at least 50% clay. The California Art League seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, July 1 – August 31, 2024 at the Sasse Museum of Art in Pomona, CA. Best of Show: $800, First Place: $500, Second Place: $200, Third Place: $100. Juror: Gene Sasse. Artwork submissions can be in any of the following media: drawing, painting, photographs, digital art, mixed media, collage, and sculpture. No performance art or AI. The City of Louisville, Colorado seeks to commission an original mural for the stage of the City’s beloved Steinbaugh Pavilion. The budget for this commission is $12,000. The mural is intended to serve as an artistic backdrop to the many events that take place at the Steinbaugh Pavilion and a draw for visitors who will see it as an iconic background for their Louisville photos.
