Light Art Space in Silver City, New Mexico seeks handmade prints for an exhibit, October 8 – November 1, 2025. Cash awards. Juror: Anna Hepler. This call invites artists to explore the aspects of their work that blur or transcend specific boundaries or lines. Do elements share some common ground? Or is there a complex weaving of elements, making it hard to separate or identify them individually? What is obscured and what is revealed? All entries must be handmade prints created by the artist using traditional printmaking and/or photographic processes and must have been produced within the last 5 years. 3D and experimental work is encouraged. Work must arrive ready to hang, preferably framed, but not required. Magnets, clips, and other methods can be used. $35 entry fee. Deadline: September 11, 2025. More info. The City of Newport Beach, CA announces a call to artists for a Sculpture Exhibition, held June 2026-June 2029 at Newport Beach Civic Center Park in Newport Beach, CA. $7,500 all-inclusive honorarium. Applicants must be over the age of 18. Open to all professional artists and artist teams, private collectors, galleries, and museums/non-profit organizations, in any country. Submitted works, however, must be complete, in installation-ready condition, and physically located in the U.S. at the time of submission as the exhibition budget does not allow for the costs of overseas transportation. Submissions of proposals, renderings, miniatures, general work portfolios, and other unfinished work states, or works mass-produced as part of a series, are ineligible. Works must be available for delivery to the Newport Beach Civic Center Park site during the period of June 1-26, 2026 for installation, and artist must be able to arrange for retrieval of the work at its deinstallation in June 2029. Artists nationwide are invited to apply for the 34th Annual Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Spring Festival, to be held March 13-15, 2026 at Expo New Mexico in Albuquerque. Fine arts & crafts in the following mediums are eligible: acrylic, clay, drawings, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper, photography, printmaking, sculpture, stone, watercolor, wood. Specialty foods & products (directly produced lotions / soaps / products) are also eligible, but spots are limited. Applicants must make their own work, and accepted artists must show & sell their own work. No reps are allowed. (See ‘Festival Rules’ for details). Medium categories are limited. The Western Colorado Watercolor Society seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, March 6 – April 3, 2026 at the Western Colorado Center for The Arts in Grand Junction, Colorado. More than $3,000 in awards. Juror: Janet Rogers. The exhibition is open to all watercolor artists 18 years of age or older. The paintings must be on paper, Yupo or unstretched canvas, limited to watermedia. Transparent watercolor, gouache, ink and acrylic are acceptable. Work must be the artists’ idea, composition and design, not done in a class. Collage must be on paper with the majority of the painting watermedia. Clatsop Community College in Astoria, OR seeks entries for Au Naturel: the Nude in the 21st Century, January 22 – March 12, 2026. $1000 in cash prizes. Up to $2000 in purchase awards. One or more artists may be chosen to be featured in a group or solo exhibit. Juror: Martha Lee, Russo Lee Gallery, Portland, OR. Artists must be 18 years or older. Artwork must represent the nude human figure and must have been created using the handmade mark within the past five years.
