The Rehoboth Art League announces a call to artists for 2025 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals. Open to members and non-members. This is a very competitive program as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Artworks in any media will be reviewed. The RAL is situated in the town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, a highly traveled area not only by the residents of this and the expanding surrounding communities, but also by art patrons from the Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York metropolitan areas. Over 29,000 people participate in Rehoboth Art League programs annually. Special exhibitions have played an important part of our programming since the league’s beginning, in1938. Upstream Gallery in Hastings on Hudson, NY is currently welcoming membership applications from area artists. Submissions are reviewed each month. New members are voted into the gallery by a majority vote of the existing membership after an evaluation of work examined via the applicant’s website and actual examples of art submitted for review. Member artists are expected to participate in the operation of the gallery, which includes working at the gallery one or two days a month, installing, or taking down shows, helping with our newsletter or numerous other tasks and responsibilities.
