Cautious Clay’s “Puffer” is a track that explodes into psych-rock from the get-go and doesn’t disappoint with its flamboyance and intimacy.

It’s the speed of this track that got me, it’s a fast track and yet it gives in to itself now and then. It’s high-energy alt-rock reminiscent of drive tracks or some sort of new-age hyper rock, but at the same time, it has this calm and thoughtful lyrical construction that makes the soundscape something more than just being loud.
