Mamalarky gives us “It Hurts” — a rolling little wave of soft psych rock and crashing romance.
Reminiscing by the beach, forgiving the person, hating the person, or loving the person – we have all been there, we’ve all felt that “It Hurts” and if it sounded anything like this track, it would’ve been so much easier. (Where were you Mamalarky when I was hurting?) I am so glad this track found its way to me, that the soft 80’s soft rock traveled all the way to my ears and comforted me.
“It Hurts” is unapologetically painful and also a soft cocktail to keep your hopes up.
