Sad rock gets a new flagship with Savannah Conley’s “Best I Can.”

Savannah Conley truly has given me a gem. “Best I Can” is that perfect little alt-rock track, loud enough to get you energized, but subdued enough to have a purpose. It’s a track that dug its fingers into my mind and gave me nothing but joyous rebellion.

It’s a hidden bass guitar, loud drums, curving vocals, and an all-out build into a chorus that is as cathartic as it is entertaining (and don’t get me started on that guitar riff solo, a sucker for that moment.)

Savannah Conley Did the best they could and it was amazing.
