A Projection of Forever
The Japanese House leaves our indy hearts pounding as the dream-pop guitars project over our eyes.
We all have a past, a time we remember, decide to forget, are blissful about or even regret and The Japanese house is here to take us back to those times, give us comfort, give us closure and combine it all into the best indie short film this side of Cannes. “Boyhood” is a super 8 film playing on repeat at the back of the reunion dinner – a memory on fast-forward warping with indie flare and soft folk drums.
The Japanese House has given me goosebumps and heart palpitations with this one.
