Collage is an art form that involves combining and/or altering two or more 2-dimensional materials, such as photographs, published print, textiles, sheet music, candy wrappers, headstone rubbings, etc., to create unique compositions. The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit original works which qualify in some considerable way as drawing. In cooperation with the Liturgical Arts Festival of Springfield (LAFS), the Springfield Art Association (SAA) will host a juried exhibition of liturgical and sacred art as part of the biennial, interfaith Liturgical Arts Festival: Come Creative Spirit. The Allied Arts Council of St Joseph, Missouri seeks outdoor sculptures for the 11th annual Sculpture Walk, held June 12, 2024 – May 12, 2025 in Downtown St. Joseph, Missouri. Artists receive a $750 honorarium per sculpture selected and compete for up to $10,000 in cash prize awards. A selection committee of art professors and arts community leaders chooses the sculptures and locations for them. Additionally, the Allied Arts Council purchases one sculpture each year and donates it to the City of St. Joseph for its public art collection.
