Art Barn 30th Annual Juried Art Exhibition

The Art Barn School of Art in Valparaiso, Indiana seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, April 13 – May 23, 2024. $6,000 in purchase and merit awards will be distributed. Juror: Bryan Byrn. The exhibition is open to artists 18 years of age and up and living in the United States. All entries must be of original design and personal execution. 2-Dimensional Media: May include, but not limited to, drawing, fiber, mixed media, painting, pastels, photography and/or printmaking. Ceramic Arts Media: Works must be primarily composed of ceramic, may be 2 or 3-Dimensional and be functional or non-functional. ARC Gallery in Chicago announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, April 5-27, 2024. Juror: Curtis Anthony Bozif. Eclipse themed mural in Southern Indiana

The City Council and Mayor’s office of Vincennes, Indiana are announcing a national call for artist submissions for an eclipse themed mural on the side of City Hall. Vincennes and Knox County are in the centerline of totality during the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. We will experience 4 minutes and 5 seconds of darkness and anticipate 50,000-100,000 eclipse visitors for that weekend. To commemorate this spectacular event and encourage future eclipse tourism, the City is asking for public works to be submitted. $2,500.00 commission. The mural will be printed and installed by a local printing company and will hang for approximately 1-2 year(s). All works must be original and not shown in the last two years. No application fee. The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit applications for the Manifest Artist Residency program (MAR) and Scholar in Residence (SIR). We are located in the vibrant neighborhoods of East Walnut Hills and Clifton near the Ohio River, Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum, numerous Universities, and within three miles of downtown. Pentwater Public Arts: Sculpture Walk 2024/25

The Pentwater Arts Council in the Village of Pentwater, Michigan is conducting an open entry competition to select 5 outdoor sculptures for the Pentwater Sculpture Walk, June 1, 2024 – May 31, 2025. Artists will receive a $3,000 honorarium for each sculpture selected for a 1 year lease. Plus award money for “Best of Show.” All works will be for sale with a possible Purchase Award. This is the final year of a 3 year project, 2 sculptures having been purchased each previous year. The goals of the project are to provide an outdoor art appreciation experience that will enlighten, stimulate, and educate and to help activate the downtown.
