The City of Brighton, Colorado seeks artists for Brighton Art in the Park, September 9, 2023 at 650 Southern Street in Brighton, CO. Art in the Park is family oriented. All exhibits must be in keeping with this atmosphere and should be non-controversial and family friendly. All work must be original, handcrafted work. We are excited for you to visit Victor, Colorado this year to help us celebrate VCTA’s 23rd anniversary as “Plein Air” artists from around the country gather to paint on location in our historic town. Professional and Non-Professional artists participate in painting various scenes in and around the City of Victor and many nearby legendary 1890s gold mining sites. Over $4,000 in total prizes. Our show is judged by an established and respected professional artist, and original works produced for the show will be available for sale in the gallery, September 1-4, 2023. $40 entry fee. On October 14, 2023, from 11am – 5pm, the 22nd ArtWalk Livermore will expand to encompass more of our lovely downtown and connect our art park site destinations, with street booths placed strategically to allow attendees to experience both local businesses and restaurants as well as the arts. We strongly suggest early signup to allow choice in booth assignments. We offer an opportunity to promote your artworks to a public interested in fine arts as well as fine craftwork. Your $10 entry must be followed up with a full registration form and artist fee ($100 if registered by July 31st, or $115 by final registration date of August 31st). ShoreLake Arts is currently accepting submissions for 6X6NW, held September 30, 2023 at Shoreline Community College in Shoreline, WA. Awards: $100 for Sponsor’s Choice & $100 for People’s Choice. This is a community art exhibition featuring hundreds of original works of art. Each work of art must be 6 inches by 6 inches and artists may enter up to 10 works of any medium (2D or 3D).
