Pastel Paint In The Garden
Elohim and Yoke Lore have given us a garden of soft electronic roses, beady folk electric daffodils, and quiet alt-pop birdsong.
“Pastel Auras” is a warm song, a song that is filled with a feeling of comfort and peace, it does however take on a different role when the joy jolts in. Like a thriving garden, this track has layers of different expressions and flows like a bouquet of alt-pop, folk indie and pulsing soft electro.
It’s such a simple and beautifully thematic idea – pastels and flowers – and Elohim and Yoke Lore succeed in sucking the nectar out of every moment.
